I put my new graphics card on my bed on top of the duvet cover for about 15 seconds, is there a chance that it will be damaged

Static damage although a real threat, is not as dangerous as it once was. I don't even use a static bracelet anymore (do they even still make those?) Your fine, useless your wearing wool socks on shag carpet, while doing the moon walk, i won't loss any sleep. Plug and play my friend.
