Hi everyone,
I experienced a problem with my Sapphire Tri-X R9 280X graphics card. It started two days ago: When I started playing games, after 10-20 minutes my computer would suddenly shut down. The only thing I did was updating my graphics driver, so naturally I thought that may be the problem. I tried various things such as system restore, manually installing the old drivers and making a clean install of the new drivers, but the problem persisted.

So, sudden shutdown sounded like PSU or heat problem and as the card worked fine for nearly a year with my system I narrowed it down to the latter.
I did some measuring and noticed that under load the GPU temperature increased to over 100°C which is IMHO way above normal. After further investigation I noticed that only one of the three fans on the card is spinning, no matter what load or temperature. Even when I manually set the fan speed to 100% in the Catalys Control Center only the middle fan is spinning.

Has anyone an idea what happened to my card or what I could do?

Hm you can grab from broken GPU * if you find on ebay or simply buy different fans and place them in place of broken one * first you need remove old fans and use some glue or plastics wraps ect. :)
Or simply remove plastic cover with fans and do something like this
