Upon starting my computer, windows vista attempts to boot, and gets hung up at the windows logo. Upon trying to start in safe mode or any safe mode variation, it gets hung up at null.sys. I have another hard drive with 7 that boots fine, but if i attach my vista-hard drive as well, the 7 one gets hung up at the windows logo as well. Same thing happens in safe mode. I don't want to keep windows vista, I just want to recover my pictures, music and movies. How could I go about doing this?

ya just use the old vista drive hooked up like a storage drive and boot to 7 and open the vista drive and drag and drop / copy and paste over to 7 ??
