Hello everyone! I've been having this annoying issue with my router and I can't port forward at all no matter what I do. I have tried multiple things, liking checking forums and YouTube videos and I'm at a loss on what to do. I want to set this server up for a few friends and I.
Router- Netgear R6300
Modem- Cisco DPQ3925 (Just to let you know, my modem doubles as a router, but I have that feature disabled.)
PC specs: Asrock Motherboard, Intel core i3 3220, Nvidia GTX 750 ti, 500w 1u PSU, Windows 8.1
Also, I do use an Asus 802.11AC WiFi adapter.

If the routing is disabled in the Cisco, that means it should be configured as a bridged modem. Are you certain that is how this is configured? The public IP address should be assigned to your Netgear.

Are you only port forwarding through the Netgear?

Have you given your PC a static IP address outside of the DHCP range?

Yeah, I disabled the radio on the cisco router. I am only trying to port forward through my Netgear router. I also gave my PC a static IP. Also, if I don't have it as a bridged modem, how would I configure that?

Turning off the wifi radio does not put the Cisco in bridge mode, so routing is still enabled.

I'm not sure that bridge mode is officially supported on this modem-router, but there are some guides by others who have made it work. Just Google "DPQ3925 bridge mode".

An alternative is to configure the Netgear as an access point and port forward through the Cisco.
