hi everyone, my computer won't boot from windows and shows only black screen. I wanted to go to safe mode with command prompt to backup my important files. But when I am turning it on the only options are these:

Startup Menu

F1 System Information
F2 System Diagnosics
F9 Boot Device Options
F10 BIOS Setup
F11 System Recovery

ENTER - Continue Setup

I am looking for a menu to go to safe mode, But I can't find it. I also tried tapping f8 after I turned it on. Please help me. Thanks!

What Windows do you use? If its Windows 8 or 8.1, use the installation media to get to the repair options and try restoring to a previous date. I have often found that after installing an antivirus this will happen or updates that did not install properly.

Sometimes clients bring there computers and it just boot normally after leaving it at the blank screen for 10 or 15 minutes.

If not you could try ctrl, alt delete and opening the task manager and from there launch a new task to open explorer.exe

Tell me how things go ;)

actually the SSD has been damaged rougly, too many bad sectors. I tried the HDD Regenerator and it shows there that in only 0.16 % there are 1600+ bad sectors. I already lose hope in retrieving the SSD, the only thing I want is to recover the files. I tried every single steps to recover the file but It won't boot. I also tried booting it from a windows installer in order to open the command prompt so that I can backup the files. But after I clicked the Repair your computer Option, Nothing shows but the background of the windows installer only. Please help me. Thanks!

For SSD, use SSDlife to see what percentage of life is left in it. If it is because the disk has failed, there's not much to do with it but you can try using Hiren's boot and booting from mini XP to gain access to your files or just use a Linux and live boot from it. I'm guessing you have multiple systems since you managed to test the SSD. Don't you have access if you plug it into another PC?
