When I responded, my brain was not fully in gear. If you do not have a monitor, Operating System, and Keyboard/mouse, you are out of luck. What existing parts, if any do you have?

So we are looking at an AMD based system. The ASUS M5A78L comes in many different flavors. Do you know exactly which one? The ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 is OK and will run a stock FX 6300 even though it has weak VRM and no heat-sinks.
The other boards -M LX Plus, -M LX, and -LE are less good.
