Dell vs Asus

Solution
Both are fine in their own way.

Dell is good for business/student/casual use, while Asus is known for gaming use.

Dell's quality can depend on the computer honestly. Their higher-ends are known to have better quality. Asus is a bit the same way, but Asus really is known for gaming use.

If you are wanting to game, go Asus; if you just want a laptop for really just business/student/casual use, go Dell.

I thought so too. I have owned Dell before (loved it) but never a Asus laptop. Recently I was looking for a laptop. The Dell that me my requirements was the Dell XPS 13, but I saw reviews/forums that discussed the trackpad. At that point I abandoned Dell for Asus. My point is, they both are great in terms of quality/reliability, but you gotta look at price. I hope this helps. Read reviews and narrow it down to 2 choices.
