Hyper 212 Evo or Older Alternative?

I'm looking to get a better cpu cooler to replace my stock Intel one- I recently checked by temps while gaming, and they're higher than I originally thought. I've been looking and hearing about the CM Hyper 212 EVO, but also on Newegg I've found others in that series that look and seem to function exactly the same for less, primarily the Hyper 212 Plus and the Hyper T4. The T4 seems to even have the same fan. Would these older coolers perform just as good as the Evo for less money?

I use the CM 212+ with 2X CM SickleFlow 120's and Arctic silver 5. My my CPU is overclocked +1.25Ghz and my cores still only idle at room temperature and never exceed 30c even after 24+ hours of stress testing. My whole cooling setup set me back about $55.00 (Not mentioning case fans)

I'd get the Hyper 212 Evo, it's a bit bigger but I've read its a bit cooler than the Hyper T4 Air cooler. Or you could get a watercooler
