CPU Overclock resets to default Ghz after Sleep mode

Hi,
I have successfully O/C my i5 4690k from 3.5ghz to 4.6ghz. It has been stable for over 6 weeks, I play games with no problems and no overheating (below 60c). I also use it for heavy video editing.

However, whenever I put the computer to sleep, after waking up, the CPU speed resets to the default CPU speed of 3.5ghz. When I re-boot it goes back to the O/C speed of 4.6ghz and stays at that speed as long as I use it.

I have run extensive stress testing with no reported errors. Overclocking was done in the Bios, not via software and I have Intel Turbo Boost enabled in the Bios and 'Disable Turbo' is not checked in RealTemp.

Any ideas as to what can cause an overclock reset to default speed after sleep mode in Windows 7?

bump.

Can anyone can help me please?

I have successfully overclocked my i5 4690k CPU to 4.6ghz from the stock 3.5ghz. What is happening is that after I wake the computer from sleep mode, the CPU speed resets to the stock CPU speed. When I re-boot, it goes back to the overclocked speed of 4.6ghz and stays at that speed as long as I use it. My overclock is stable and runs great, it has passed stress tests, gaming, video editing etc...

When the computer wakes from sleep, I run CPU-Z and it shows the stock speed of 3.5ghz instead of the 4.6ghz. Any ideas on how to fix that?

Problem: CPU resets to stock speed (as indicated by CPU-Z) when putting the computer to sleep. o/c speed goes from 4.6 ghz to 3.5ghz

Below is what I have tried/current settings:
High Performance power is enabled in Windows
Intel SpeedStep is disabled in the Bios
All C-states disabled in the Bios
Intel Turbo Boost enabled in the Bios
'Disable Turbo' is not checked in RealTemp
Overclocking was done in the Bios
Stress tested for stability with Prime 95, stable with all temperatures below 60C

Any luck trying hibernate instead of sleep, hybrid sleep? A quick google search shows that your not alone w/ this problem. This was the fix for someone else from these forums awhile back. You may have to dig deeper in forum searches. I don't use sleep myself, so I cannot comment further in trying to figure this out.
