Hello so I recently had problems with my psu sometimes not giving enough power to support my pc. I bought a cheap one real quick to make sure that was the problem and it was and the cheap one i bought was 550watt compared to the old one at 500. So I purchased a good 600watt powersupply online since i knew what the problem was to replace the cheap one. I finally got it plugged everything in and encountered a weird problem at my startup where it would start up fine at first but just before it goes to the windows screen to login the keyboard would turn off and the monitor would be just black for about 10 seconds and then everything will work just fine and I tested it multiple times and encountered the same problem. Well the next day I turn on my pc and the problem doesnt happen but i step out of the room for a minute come back and not just the keyboard is off but the whole pc is off the only thing on is the mouse! I dont even know how that is possible for the whole pc to be off but mouse still running and trying to turn the pc back on and off wouldnt work I had to unplug it from the wall to get the mouse to turn off. Now the pc doesnt turn on at all and its not the mother board or anything like that because the fans are not turning on either. Could this just be a dud of a powersupply or maybe to much power for my pc to handle please help.

You don't have something plug in like say around the cpu theres a power plug that needs to be plug in for your gpu or you have missed something else on the board so what was this good brand PSU you bought some specs on your system can help me help you!

I checked all the cables like the cables that plug into the mother board and everything is plugged in just fine i unplugged and re-plugged them in as well. The power supply i purchased was a Corsair CX 600watts and is the same brand as the old powersupply that had stopped working on me. These are my specs

CPU - Intel i7 4770k @3.5ghz
GPU - NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 7604gb
MOTHERBOARD - MSI Z87-G45 GAMING
RAM - Standard non namebrand 16gb
PSU - Corsair CX 600watts

This is the exact powersupply I bought

Have you had the motherboard long was this a older build from the past? and you just replaced the power supply? no name brand ram could be a issue have you tried it on another system or maybe the board don't like that ram .. Did you go to MSI and see if its listed as one they tested with... Did you go into the bios and try setting everything to defaults try 1 stick of ram and see if it runs ...
