You don't really need a full tower case for that setup, unless you plan to cram a LOT of stuff in it on down the road. Plus you're going overkill on fans, TIM, PSU, (and RAM if it's just a gaming rig.)
I suggest going to something like a Corsair Carbide Spec-01 or Rosewill Challenger U3 mid tower case ($50-$55), a Seasonic 520w S12II SPU ($50), same model RAM in 2x4GB 1866 speed ($56), and the CM Hyper 212 EVO cooler ($30).
You can also get that MB a lot cheaper at Newegg.
That would leave you about $275 for the GPU. At that point you could go anywhere from a R9 290 or even a 290x or 970 if you don't mind going about $25 over your list total, which would still keep you pretty close to $800. The GPU does the bulk of the work in a gaming rig, you don't want to scrimp there. You'd also have enough left to get a better HDD (WD Black 1TB @ $69).
Most coolers come with TIM BTW, and you can get decent mid tower cases with plenty room for long GPUs, HDDs, SSDs, etc, for under $60, with enough fans to get you started if not permanently

There's a promo code shown for an additional $8 off the RAM I linked to if bought by 8/3, and 1866 it's plenty fast enough for gaming. You won't really notice anything faster. Plus 8GB is still fine for gaming.
The 970 is a solid GPU, but has issues on a few games that require LOTS of VRAM. Any game that starts asking for more than 3.5GB VRAM can start making a 970 stutter badly, like SHadow of Mordor. The 290x is almost equal in overall power, and with it's 4GB VRAM, you won't be stuttering in the very VRAM hungry games.
Note that with the Rosewill case and $8 promo on the RAM, you're only $13 over your original part list total if you go with the $300 GPUs I listed. Well worth it. The Rosewill case also has a bigger CPU cutout on the MB tray. It's not quite the quality of the Corsair, but has some nice features and is def worth looking at.
The only thing that makes me hesitant about the Rosewill case is I could not find actually GPU length clearance.
