Need help with possible dead motherboard.

I have a GA-990FXA-UD3 Motherboard (rev 4.1) with a FX-8320 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition, 16gig dual channel 1600 Crosai sticks, 600 watt thermaltake tr2 PSU. For some reason, it is not posting. It used to show the Gigabyte logo on boot up. But now it won't. A cursor arrow shows for a split second then goes away to plain black. I removed the memory and same results. Right now I'm left t with the motherboard out with CPU, memory, and video card. Ruled out the video and PSU because they work on the previous one I had. As for beeps, its just a single short beep on power up. If I remove all the memory, it produces short quick beeps. I reset the bios numerous times. I'm trying to find out if the motherboard has died or not. Double checked all connections. Power to mb and CPU. Other than that I'm lost. Fans work for video and CPU. Any suggestions what it may be?
