Why Does My New Gaming Computer Run Slow

So a few days ago i buit a gaming computer and everything seemed to be fine but the point is it runs way slower then i think it should be running heres my specs:

Intel core i5-4590 haswell Processor 3.3GHz 5.0Gt/s 6mb lga 1150 Cpu

PowerColor TurboDuo AMD Radeon R9 285 2gb GDDR5 OC

Asrock H97M Anniversary LGA 1150 Intel H97 HDMI 6

crucial ballstix sport 8gb

Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1tb 7200 64mb CA

EVGA 500 B 80 Plus Bronze Certified 500W Active PF

make sure the mb has the newest bios file on it. then install the newest intel chipset drivers and mei drivers. run hdtune check the hard drive for any error and look at it i\o speed.

Make sure theres no thermal throtteling anywhere, check for driver updates for everything, scan for viruses.

what games are you trying to play with it and at what settings?

is your monitor plugged into gpu and not mobo?

Define "slow"
Laggy in games?
Low Frame rate in games? If so what game at what settings?
Slow Booting up?
Mouse pointer or basic OS functions being slow?

Your hard drive would most likely be the slowest part of your PC, are you having slow loading times?
