I have a Radeon 7770 graphics card. I have to under clock it on my MSi Afterburner to play most games without display drivers and games crashing. My two guesses of incompatability is either my power supply does not have sufficient power, a Corsair CX500 with 500 watts. Or my motherboard (which I had before the card), that has on-board graphics and is ASRock FM2A75 Pro4-M. My processor is an AMD A10-5800K APU Quad Core 4.20 GHz and I have 8 GB of Ram.
Thanks in advance, and let me know if you have any ideas on what to do, I am willing to replace parts other than the graphics card.

Your PSU and motherboard looks fine to me. There could be two issues: It could be a display driver issue. Are you using latest driver for your GPU? If yes, then I assume it's the physical problem with your graphics card cooling system. You'll want to replace it if it's still in warranty.

To specify, whenever I launch any game, it works fine for a little, or immediately it goes black, goes to the desktop and says display driver stopped responding and has recovered. However, it crashes the game and sometimes other things I have open, like google chrome. I use the MSi Afterburner to underclock core and memory clocks so it can run games without crashing.

My drivers are updated as far as I know, and I'm currently making sure they all are. I don't think its a cooling problem, as I haven't had that problem for my computer as a whole, but I'm not sure about the graphics card.

Did you check what's the load temperature on your graphics card? Also I would recommend uninstalling the display driver and reinstalling again. You can use DDU http://www.guru3d.com/content-page/guru3d-driver-sweeper.html

My GPU temp is 107.6 degrees Fahrenheit but cool to the touch. I reinstalled the display driver as well and it didn't seem to change anything.

Its almost exactly the problem I faced few months back. My gpu nvidia driver would crash and then recover. finally it turned out that my gpu hardware was faulty as 1 day it stopped responding fully. So you should check out the RMA. You can unplug and clean the gpu as it can sometimes get disconnected from the PCIe port.
