I have these parts ready to go
CPU: i7 4790k
GPU: Sapphire r9 290X Tri-X OC
RAM: 1x8GB Stick of PNY 1866
PSU: 1000 Watt PSU
Case: NZXT Phantom 410
I got the RAM as part of a deal for free so it would be nice if I could get a board that uses 1866 natively. I am not experienced with overclocking and not a fan of it. I want this board to last thus the "Reliability" part in the post. I don't want to buy sticks of 1600 if I can help it. I'm not sure how OC works but I doubt I can just plug in the 1866 and the board will detect it and adjust by itself thats fine but if I need a 1600 then OC then its a NO GO.
I may get another Sapphire GPU but not likely so good CFX support would be great.
The only other thing is that it can hold quite a few 3 pin chasis fans as the NZXT Phantom has A LOT OF THEM. Not really a requirement but it would save me trouble.
This is by far the most complicated rig project and my first Intel build so I am very wary because I always expect my rigs to last at least 4-5 yrs minus GPU, CPU, RAM upgrades. So a good MB is a must
Currently I am eyeballing 2 boards

If i get the Sabertooth then the RAM issue isn't well... an issue
If I get the Z97-E then I would have to purchase RAM but I still save money even after buying RAM.
BTW $250 is very high for me I don't plan on spending more $175 and lower is my comfort zone.
