A few days ago before leaving to go out of town, I attempted to clock my RAM to 1866 via the BIOS. I recently bought it (Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB Kit (2x8GB) 1866MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM) and it was 1600 by default so I just set it to 1866 in BIOS and reset. Obviously a bad idea, but I cannot seem to get it to boot to BIOS again, and I am really worried I did damage to something else.

When starting my computer, the CPU_LED light blinks, then the DRAM_LED light blinks. It then waits for a few second and tries to boot again.

My original thought was I could just clear the CMOS but that hasn't worked for me.

Here's some things I have tried:
- Clearing CMOS by removing battery
- Clearing CMOS by jumper
- Using my other RAM sticks (old ones that still worked)
- Only using one RAM stick
- Trying each slot with one RAM stick.

Some more information:
- This happens with just the CPU and RAM installed. Nothing besides CPU power and the 24pin connector plugged into mobo.
- If I remove the RAM entirely, it beeps at me and the DRAM_LED light flashes, so that's very normal.
- I did not update my BIOS or change any other settings in BIOS before trying to clock my RAM to 1866. A terrible idea, but shouldn't it just damage my RAM, not my CPU or mobo?
- I'm using a ASUS Z97-A motherboard and i5 4670k processor.

I'm sitting here at 1am with my PC's guts hanging all over the place trying desperately to figure this out. Is it my CPU? My RAM slots? I can't seem to find anyone with the same problem as me.

I tried it, but holding or pressing the MemOK! button just sends it back to the boot cycle.

I'm going to RMA my motherboard because that's what ASUS Support suggested. Will post results.
