If I have a CD-ROM this model:
TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-224DB ATA Device

And a motherboard of this model:
PCCHIPS P47G

Can I connect this cdrom to this motherboard?
It has only 2 cables (the black/yellow/red one and a blue that I think is the power). Like these:

I need it only to read a cd for booting windows from it, so it is just temporary.

The computer had another cdrom that is now dead which had these cables:

but this one is now different so I would like to know if there is a slot in this motherboard to connect it.

Thanks a lot!

Do you mean if I have one separately? Or if one of those I showed in the photos is a SATA connector?

I am sorry but I am not so familiar with all these kinds of connectors.
By the way I am just helping a friend who has this problem so unfortunately I cannot see myself all these components to find a way. I was hoping that by the specifications I give (type of slots/connectors these device and motherboard come with) you could know if it is possible.

Edit: for example, if there is a slot in the motherboard to plug the 2 cables the cd rom has.

Thanks again!
