My Dell Dimension E520 fails to start up. I press the power button, the fan revs up, and all that happens is the power light on the case is orange. The motherboard has an orange light on it too. I've tested it with different variations of RAM sticks, in different slots, and can confirm it isn't them that is the problem. I've re-seated the CPU a few times as well, and it makes no difference.
Recent hardware changes that I have made are swapping the Pentium D out for a Core 2 Quad (Q6600) and adding an AMD Radeon 6670 graphics card. They were working before. Before it stopped working, I did disassemble parts of the PC to give it a clean, but I'm pretty sure nothing is lose. I'm thinking it's a PSU or motherboard failure.
This isn't my primary PC, more of a side project I've been tinkering with, so it is far from 'mission critical'. I hope I can get an answer. Thanks!
PS: First time posting here so I hope everything is ok.
