Hello,

My PC has been working with no problems whatsoever until this morning, when I booted it up again.

When I boot it shows the A2 Q-Code, so I do a BIOS flashback as I've seen suggested, and after that I'm stuck with the A0 Q-Code, which has always meant everything is fine, however there is no signal to either of my monitors (connected by HDMI and DVI-I) either from the GPUs or the onboard graphics. The solutions I've tried so far include:

  • Removing and re-seating each component
    Resetting the CMOS
    BIOS flashback
Starting with one stick of RAM and adding one more each time
Booting with no HDD/SSD or GPUs plugged in
And nothing seems to change. What could be the problem here? My specs are as follows:

  • Mobo: ROG Maximus VII Hero z97 motherboard
    RAM: 32GB Kingston HyperX Savage @ 2400MHz
CPU: Intel i7 4790K CPU @ stock speed
GPUs: 2x EVGA GTX 780 Ti
Storage: Crucial BX100 500GB SSD; Seagate 2TB HDD
    Power supply: Corsair RM850
    Cooling: EKWB full custom loop
As I said, the system was running fine last night but today it doesn't seem to want to. Everything has started up (fans, pump, hard drive, etc.) but there's just no display. If anyone's got any ideas I'll be happy to hear them - cheers.

Thanks for your reply. I don't get a display signal with the monitors connected to the onboard graphics either though.

I tried that earlier on and it didn't work but now it seems to have done. Where do I go from here?

Edit: I messed around with the settings in the BIOS menu and reset with the GPUs connected and it went back to no signal on the monitors.

I tried that - still nothing. It seems unable to boot whatsoever with the cards installed. It is now showing the Q-Code (this is with the cards installed and powered) B2, which, according to the manual, means "Legacy Option ROM Initialization" which probably makes things even more confusing.
