Custom Built PC won't start

I'm having a problem my custom built pc won't turn on. I don't know if it because my wall outlet doesn't have the wattage needed or my mobo is garbage or what. Please help !

Case: Apevia X Sniper 2
Mobo: Msi z87-g43 military class 4 (refurbished)
Power: xfx ts 550w
Graphics: turboduo powercolor Radeon r9 270
Processor: core i5-750 2.66 ghz
Storage: 1TB western digital
Ram Stick: 8gb g sport ripjaw
M&K: CMStorm Devastator gaming gear combo

Problem is you probably fried the board too. The CPUs are electrically different. I am honestly wondering how you managed to shove that LGA1156 CPU into a LGA1150 board. They are physically different too. I have seen someone shove a 1155 chip into a 1156 board and it was very hard to get out.

And once I get a lga 1150 i5 . My computer should start up with no other problems?

before any of that, you need to check if you damaged the motherboard socket by putting in an incompatible cpu in it. study these two guides well:

you should take your mobo to a professional or to a pc tech-savvy friend/relative and have it's cpu socket checked out or you could check for damage yourself. if it's fine, get a core i5 4460 or 4590 or 4690K whichever is within your budget. the pc should run with a compatible cpu but since i have no way to determine what else is wrong, i can't say for sure.
