Right now i have everything on auto, and it shows 9-9-9-24

My rams are g.skill 2x4gb 1600mhz 7-7-7-21 and i dont know what the command timings are

My motherboard is Asus p8z67v pro/gen3
I tried to manualy put those settings and i had problems when restarting.

Any ideas?

Oh and what are the options below that like secondary or third timings? should i just leave them at auto?

Thank You.

1333 7-7-7 or can try 1600 at 8-8-8-24 (that might do it for 1600 and will be a little faster than 1333/7 (you had me pulling my hair hair out ;) I ran some 1600/7 sets on that same combo awhile back (was starting to wonder if you had a bad mobo or CPU)

Yes, set the DRAM freq to 1600 and the timings to spec, make sure DRAM voltage is to spec also. Look for Command Rate/Timing - will want it at 2T or may be 2N, then save, exit and give it a try. Leave the secondary and Tertiary timings alone, if need be they should auto adjust

looks like mine are 2N but bios doesnt let me input the "N", used only 2 instead, when i use this timings motherboard post says "overclocking fail" or something like that, but it still boots, but if i reset my pc, pc never restarts and it stays on a black screen

pc works fine if i set the timings to auto, but i wanted to get the timings specified on the ram
