hi, im building a pc with a asus b85-pro gamer mobo wich compatible ram speeds are 1066mhz, 1333 mhz and 1600 mhz
but in my country i can get a 2133mhz g skill ares cheaper than the 1600mhz one wich sounds weird to me, if the speed of the ram is higher it should just ran to the mobos max speed and problem solved? or is it always better to get the exact same speed? plus i could instead for a bit more cash get a ripjaws x 1600mhz so let me know what you think about that as well.
here are to links so you see:
ares blue 2133mhz: https://www.pcfactory.cl/producto/11357-DDR3.8GB.2x.4GB.2133Mhz.PC3-17000.Ares.Blue
ares orange 1600mhz: https://www.pcfactory.cl/producto/11352-DDR3.8GB.2x.4GB.1600Mhz.PC3-12800.Ares.Orange
ripjaws x 1600mhz: https://www.pcfactory.cl/producto/11351-DDR3.8GB.2x.4GB.1600Mhz.PC3-12800.RipjawsX
and the mobo: https://www.pcfactory.cl/producto/18127-MB.Intel.B85-Pro.Gamer.1150

extra question: do you think for my red themed pc the blue ram would look worse or better than the red one?
thanks in advance :)
