Hi smaraje, right your desktop > Catalyst Control Center> Performance> CPU Overdrive> tick the box that says override existing CPU settings > Auto tune, and let it find the highest overclock for you. I don't advise you to mess with the voltages, as it can damage your CPU. Happy gaming :)

mmm i dont really agree with this, and from hours of internet research, and personal exp, most people will tell you not to use software for CPU overclocking. its not as reliable than using your BIOS. Also, the majority of the time, you are going to have to mess with your voltages to get a significant over clock.

but why just to 3.8? the FX 6300 (which i am running at 4.4Ghz) is set to run at "turbo mode" by default, which means it fluctuates between 3.5 (stock) and 4.1 Ghz automatically depending on load. if you try to OC to 3.8, you're locking it there, so youre actually losing a small amount of performance than you have currently.
