Adata 500 watt PSU
Gigabyte gtx 660 graphics card.
So the other day I was playing GTA 5 on good settings and then the game stuttered and begun to do so exponentially. Today the same thing happened so i dug into the issue and using a 3rd party hardware monitoring software, found that the gpu's fans were not rotating. Sure enough when I popped open the case they were idle. I begun to isolate the issue and found that when connected to another psu 6 pin connector there was no avail. In conclusion its a problem with the 6 pin socket on the GPU right? Fortunately enough I can still use my computer for idle purposes because of superb cooling power. Unfortunately I don't know why the fans don't and still do not work. I tried reattaching the 3 pin connector that combines the gpu fan to the gpu itself but still no good results. Any help or ideas on this would be great! Thanks.
