I'm not really tech savvy so I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem as me. So I had my CPU overclocked to 4.4 ghz on windows 7 and it worked find for months but I recently just upgraded to windows 10 now my computer crashes and says my current overclock setting doesn't work and puts it back to the default clock speed. I have the i5 4690k for a CPU and mobo I have the Msi z97-GD65

can you get any oc at all

dose it crash at first voltage increase
or any bump in speed

i dont have windows 10 yet but it is likely buggy and this my be a bug that has yet to be worked out
generally most bugs are fixed by service pack 1

Not really. There is a lot of troubleshooting to do but I would suggest starting with a lower frequency for your CPU. I was running my AMD FX 6300 at 4.7 Ghz under Win8.1 and I updated to Win10 while under OC with no issues. My CPU and GPU are heavily OC'ed and Windows 10 runs with no issues.

But its really weird because it even crashes if i use the OC Genie button on my mobo.
