motherboard won't recognize graphics card

Hi guys so I have a problem with a pc that I recently build the problem is that the motherboard doesn't recognize the graphics card the fans of the card are spinning I don't know whats the problem is the first time that I build a pc help please

Make sure you plug in the 1X8-pin and 1x6-pin pcie power cable into the r9 390.
Or may try use the 2nd pciex16 slot.

If not, try hooking up to the onboard video - go into the BIOS and set primary video to PCI-E/PEG and then can use the discrete GPU

I did that but the pc keeps using the integrated graphics when I connect the cable to the from the monitor to the graphics card it appears a black screen

500W is closed to the limit for your PC, I don't know what cpu you have, maybe the PSU or GPU has problem. For r9 390, you should use 550W or 600W PSU.

bios 2501 is the last one. when you bott into the bios the rev is near the clock on the left side.

Because you can use the onboard intel iGPU, so your PC works fine, the problem may from the PSU, which may not have enough juice for the r9 390, or the r9 390 has problem, like DOA. You should try the GPU in other PC or try use other more wattage PSU. That you will know which one has problem.
