Computer rebooting randomly ONLY when gaming

Hello, I've been having a problem with my PC recently.
My computer is randomly rebooting only while gaming.
I've done some research and people are saying it's most likely the graphics card overheating
but I'm fairly certain this is not the case as the highest I've seen my GPU temps at was 73 while playing an ultra modded Skyrim.
When my computer reboots, I can hear a buzzing sound in my headset, then it goes to the windows log in screen, I can log back in and go back to playing until it reboots again.
My time playing can vary before it reboots. Sometimes it reboots after a few minutes, sometimes it reboots after almost an hour. I've been having this problem for a few days now, so I really would appreciate any help.

My Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5 4460 @ 3.20GHz
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard: MSI H97 PC Mate
GPU: MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Memory: CORSAIR Vengeance LP 8GB
Case: Corsair Carbide Series 200R Black Steel
Storage: Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB
PSU: SeaSonic G Series SSR-550RM 550W

Again, any help would be appreciated.

Solution
It is possible that your PSU fan died, and the PSU is shutting down to protect itself.

Call Seasonic and see what they have to say about it.

Typically a computer just rebooting or shutting down during gaming or benchmarking is a sign that the power supply is A) failing to provide the necessary power (due to aging or just general failure) or B) the power supply isn't powerful enough for the system.

If you have overclocked anything, set it back to the defaults and try again. If you aren't overclocking, see if you can borrow a friend's power supply and test with it. If that isn't possible, see if they can test your video card in their system - if the problem doesn't follow the card, there is a really good chance that it is your power supply.

I should also mention that you should not only monitor your GPU temps, but CPU temps as well. Core Temp is a good program as long as you don't allow it to install the extra crud it tries to weasel in during the installation.

My computer was working fine for a while (I just recently got my computer) but it's been rebooting like this for the last few days.
The fan in my PSU isn't spinning, either. Is this normal?

There are some power supplies that have this feature, and yours does have a "smart and silent" feature. I am not sure if that means it has a completely off function.

A way to test that is to fire up a game and look to see if the fan starts spinning after a little bit. If it does not, then that more than likely a big problem.

At least your power supply has a 5 year warranty.

Your power supply is normally a very good one. But any electronic device can fail. Download HWinfo and run it on your system while playing games. It will track the system temps while you are playing, and then you can see what they highest temps were after you are done playing. If nothing is going over 75c, then it most likely is not a temperature related problem.

Download BlueScreenView and see if there are any minidump files on your system. If there are none, find the instructions on how to configure your system on the same page you download this from, to create them on your system, and then use BlueScreenView after the next crash. It should give us an idea of what is causing the crashes.

I launched Skyrim and played for less than 5 minutes, my computer rebooted.
The PSU fans didn't spin at all.
Also, I read somewhere that the PSU fan is supposed to spin for a few seconds when turned on, mine didn't, though I'm not sure if it's true that it should spin when booted.
