Hey Guys i need help unlocking my voltage settings in MSI Afterburner so i can achieve higher stable clocks as i have heard so.

Default Clocks: Core 567 MHz
Memory 400MHz

Overclocked To (Stable): Core 740MHz
Memory 435MHz

I tried enabling the settings on MSI Afterburner that some people said would unlock the sliders, but not for me!
I need a way to achieve higher stable clocks, i have heard BIOS editing would do the trick but i couldn't find any reliable website that gave promising guidance. This will be my last place to look for, i'd like to get some reliable answers, Anyone?

personally, i would not think that an 8400gs would go far with overclocking. usually, these low(er) end gpu's don't have good coolers (because they usually don't need to). with that, i am not sure how far you can go. and even if you oc it, it will be faster, but still far from the good gpu's.

do you have a link where they managed to have good oc result with an 8400gs?

Thank u for your reply, and yes the 8400gs is a extremely low end graphics card i will upgrade in the future but since then i'd like to do anything to squeeze some more MHz's out of this crap. I couldn't find anywhere where they managed to get a good oc result but do we have any method of unlocking the voltage slider in MSI afterburner let it be by flashing a newer bios, i don't care i will take the risk of doing it.
