Laser or Optical Mouse?

I want to buy a gaming mouse and I was looking through a couple different products. Which type of mouse is better for fps and other video games, laser or optical?

it doesn't matter, if it is laser or optical, you need to look at the dpi of the mouse. Like this razor mouse, made for gaming, it has a 10,000 Dpi optical sensor

Optical is actually the better choice for gaming.
But DPI is important as well. A variable DPI is best, a deathadder might be overkill with all those buttons.
