I am looking to upgrade my PC's graphics card and my budget is below $200. So far I have only looked at one graphics card so far, which is the EVGA GeForce Ti SC and FTW. I have seen other articles for the Inspiron 3847, but they all have different specs and are 3 years old. Are there any better graphics cards that I should get for my price range? I am willing to upgrade my power supply aswell. I will be very glad if you help me!

My PC Specs;
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4150 CPU @ 3.50GHz
8.1 GB RAM
300W Power Supply
Dell 088DT1 A01 Motherboard
PCIe Express 2.0 x16

Solution
The 750 ti SC edition is a very low power consumption card, and doesn't require any auxillary power. It should run just fine on a 300w psu. I used to have one in my own PC and they are very good cards. I'd definitely get the 750 ti sc if I where you.
Hope I helped.

As I was looking at other posts, it said that I should get just a bit above 300W because it is risky for the GPU, so should I get a CX430 to be safe?

With the 750 ti sc you shouldn't need a bigger PSU.

Sorry to necro this but did you ever get that gpu to work? I'm looking to upgrade my nephews 3847 with a 1050ti.

I was able to put in a EVGA 960ti SCC and it had fit fine. I believe it was 9 inches long, so anything below 10 or 9 inches should be fine. I also installed a 650 watt PSU as well, but 450 or above I think would do fine.
