laptop new hard drive

i have an hp pavilion g7 i put a new 1tb hard drive in it and now i can not connect it to my tv i need it connected to my tv because i have a broken screen with my old hard drive i have no issues the new one i cant connect to my tv i also dont have graphics properties option on desktop and dont have intel graphics and media control panel

Are you sure the HDD is working and is connected properly? What form factor did you get? And what is your specific Laptop name?

the hdd works perfectly fine i have win 7 installed i can see my screen when i have a light shining on it and everything else is working my laptop is a hp pavilion g7 1019wm. with my old 500gb drive in everything works perfectly my only issue is with the new drive i can not connect to my tv

Wait is your screen cracked or just dimmed to complete darkness? If it's dark then it's an Screen Invertor problem.You can fix it by yourself.And this is really strange, that you are not able to connect.An HDD should make no diffrence in video quality or connectivity.Maybe your laptop just doesn't support the type of hard drive.What brand and specs do your last and current HDD have?
