I want to know what graphic card is the most powerful graphic card in the world.Only for Nvidia and for gaming.I want to know the graphic card that cannot be outdated for 10years.

Solution
The 980Ti is Nvidias current generation flagship card. For gaming, it trades blows and even surpasses the Titan-X.
That being said, this card will likely not last 10 years without being outdated, there is not a card that can.

There isn't a computer device made these days that isn't outdated in a couple of years. Although I still rock my Intel 980x from 5 or more years ago now. But as for Graphics cards, you won't get more than 2 or 3 years before they are left in the dust.

Not entirely accurate. The original GTX Titan is 2.5 years old. It is still a top performer that doesn't fall short of other offerings on the market. Especially if you overclocked it. If you invest in true top of the line, at the time it comes out, you can expect it to remain in a very strong position even 3 years from now. Look at the Intel i7 2600k. Came out Q1 2011. So it's about 4.5 years old. I overclocked mine to 4.8GHz right out of the box. Even compared to the newest CPUs out today, it won't be behind by more than 10-15% clock for clock. I should mention that CPU is in my work computer. My gaming computer is a 3770k at 5.2GHz. And even with the benchmarks on the latest Skylake 6700k CPUs, there's no reason at all for me to upgrade.

Technological advancement has slowed down quite a bit. The only time you get in trouble is when you buy a lower end product. I mean you can't buy a GTX 750 and expect it to work for the next 5 years. But if you bought something like the original GTX Titan, and put a waterblock on it, you could have a card that would give you great performance for 5 years, at which point there would finally be a video card that would put out more than 2x the performance.

As for the person who said the 980ti will surpass the titan x, no chance. Titan X is binned higher. And voltage can be unlocked. You can run it at 1700MHz with a full cover GPU block. Though if you're not planning to do any of that...then yeah. At stock, the 980ti would be the better bet. But that 6gb VRAM limitation though...doesn't help for future proofing.

The original Titan is no longer a top performer. It is respectable, but it is beat out by the 980ti, 980, 970, 290x and several others. It is respectable in performance, it just is no longer top tier.

While I did not write that a 980ti is faster than the Titan X, it is true with aftermarket versions. Titan X only comes in reference design, which does not have the best cooler, nor does it have the power phase improvements that aftermarket cards sometimes come with. Here is one such card that beats the Titan X: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_980_Ti_Gaming/30.html

"beats" is a relative term. The GM 200 is the same in the 980 Ti and Titan X. Except, the 980 Ti is binned lower. The only way a 980 Ti can "beat" the Titan X is when it "cheats" in a sense. Look for yourself. Every review of a 980 Ti "beating" a Titan X, has a custom PCB and is overclocked, meanwhile the Titan X is not overclocked. There is a big difference.

In other words, any 980 Ti with a custom PCB and overclocked will beat a Titan X. But when you overclock the Titan X it beats any and all 980 Tis even when they are overclocked.

Case in point. I happen to own both. My Gigabyte G1 980 Ti is clocked at 1550 Mhz compared to my Titan X clocked at just 1400 Mhz. The Titan X "beats" my 980 Ti in every benchmark. Every single one.

Add to that, the voltage can be unlocked and the bios flashed on the Titan X. With it being a higher binned chip it will start to pull away even further from it's "gimped" 980 Ti sibling. Check for yourself. All the overclocking benchmark records are currently held by Titan X cards.

If money is no object, Titan X is the single most powerful card available today. It's price to performance is another argument all together. Add to that, 12 GB VRAM and it will certainly push games longer than any other card presently available.

Case in point, Shadow of Mordor and Batman Arkham Knight use more than 6GB VRAM and will bring the 980 Ti to its knees. I can play Arkham Knight in 4K today and achieve console level frame fluidity. The game uses over 7GB and sometimes as high as 9GB in 4K resolution. I get none of the frame freezing on the Titan X rig compared to my 980 Ti rig. The issues with Arkham Knight are well documented. Just search for Arkham Knight PC and read all the negative reviews and complaints. A card that can play that game in 4K today on PC despite all the well documented complaints is testimony in itself.

Update: 980 Ti KINGPIN edition now holds the world record. So that is the card to get. BE warned though. It's listed at 849 dollars US. 150 bucks cheaper than the Titan X. But the price you will pay will be closer to the Titan X. That's provided you can even find one available for sale. Head over to EVGA's website for more details.

The problem with the Titan X is that there is no aftermarket PCB or cooling. For the Titan X to match the 980 ti, it gets LOUD and their power phase improvements on many of the 980 ti's allow for higher OCing.

As far as most people are concerned, the 980 TI does beat the Titan X when you look at aftermarket versions of the 980 TI. Should someone modify the Titan X with water cooling, they may be able to beat it out, if if you are def, you can ignore the noise levels.

I agree. So to answer the original question, if this guy is going to have water-cooling get the titan x, if not get the 980 ti. The 980 ti looks to be the all around winner considering budget constraints, if any. If money is no object, titan x it is.
