First Time Build Complete setup $1500

Would this build be ok to run most games on the 1440p monitor on medium to high setting? Im finally switching from console to pc, and want to make sure I have everything before I buy. My budget is $1500 for everything.

here is what i would get for 1440p gaming. This will even handle 4k gaming and definitely perform better in gaming.

The PSU is the only thing that i would DEFINITELY change.
The ssd also isnt as good as a bx100 or an 850 evo.

Thanks yeah I wasn't sure about how much power it would use so I was playing it safe. The 980 ti seems to be a pretty big stepup I should have chosen that over an overclocked cpu.

the cx series is just bad. I don't think you went overkill as far as wattage. 600 watts is a good amount.
