FPS is the same on all CSGO resolutions?

I get the same fps on 1920x1080 as I do with 1024x768 (200fps) how is this possible?

What setup do you have? Please list your entire rig, Ill assume this is because of your powerful cpu. Or alternately it could be the settings you have configured.

probably because your cpu or gpu is bottlnecked... i had this problem when i was using a q6600 in bf3 with a gtx 560, and a amd 7950. the fps would barely change, no matter which setting or resolution I was on.

Yep, Your CPU is the hold up. An Intel CPU would be better. Why do you need more than 200fps though?

I run CS:GO in 144hz so I need to stay above that. In some maps I can sometimes go below that every few seconds so an extra fps boost to keep me above it would be nice.

Why? Even dips down to 100fps or so aren't even going to be noticeable. And nothing short of changing to Intel will get you there.

Unfortunately you will have to live with it. And why bother messing with it? If the dips bother you, then cap the FPS to like 100 and never have dips ever again.

Because then you would have ZERO dips and perfectly smooth FPS. 100fps is WAY more than 60fps like on a normal monitor.

AND because your system is not capable of delivering smooth 144fps.

You needed to overclock more. I had a 570 topped right out, @ 3.6Ghz I would only hit 80% cpu usage.

OP, 200 fps is as fast as usable anyway. If you can hit 200 in all resolutions you certainly are not cpu bottlenecked. If anything it's quite the opposite.

its not a cpu bottleneck. i have an 8350 and i used to play with 300+ fps but now for some reason i bearly get 170 on all settings on all resolutions. i dont know what to do. i tried reverting everithing to defaults i tried some internet medicine but no.
