My ASUS laptop's Key's are not working.

Hi there,
I have an ASUS Laptop Model N53S. A couple of weeks ago the following key's stopped working properly, p,1,2,3,4,7,8,9 and the backspace. I am so frustrated as I can sometimes get some of the keys to work but most of the time it doesn't last for long. Please help me, I have no idea what to do...

Hi,

Please do try these following troubleshooting steps.

1. Try first an external keyboard and see if the same problem persist using it. If does that might be just a keyboard setting.
2. Check keyboard settings, Go to Region and Language in Control Panel and make sure everything is set to United States.
3. Next is to uninstall/reinstall the keyboard driver from Device Manager also located in Device Manager.
4. Once in Device Manager uninstall the keyboard driver then reboot your PC so it would reinstall by itself.
