Hi, I am experiencing screen flashing primarily in the upper part of the screen during games - no other times, really - and specifically during Arkham Knight, Witcher 3 and GTA V. Obviously I get AK, but the others...strange. This flashing is also very frequent during load screens, which seems strange to me. I've included a short video to show you the flash I'm talking about. Look around :03. It's quick and it looks like in-game lightning but you'll see what I mean.

I have all Nvidia drivers and Windows updates installed (even did an uninstall and reinstall of the VGA drivers). I have SLI 970s, an i5-4690k and 8GB RAM; my display is a QNIX QX2710 at 96hz. This was the same setup I had before the Windows 10 install and it was without this issue then.

Any thoughts?

Hello :)

I had this problem just a few days ago, so far switching the cards to either a different PCI slot, or just switching their positions entirely has fixed it for me. I have a 3 monitor set up and had it only while gaming. So far no flashes since.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for answering. After a Windows update a few weeks later it stopped - I'm guessing it was simply poorly optimized for SLI at that point. I don't have this problem anymore either.

Sadly the issue has just returned for me... Maybe I should upgrade to Windows 10 but I'm really not feeling it just yet. Since I've had it for all configurations of cards/slots/monitors I've tried, it's either a cable or software problem. I'll try to figure it out and post here again for anyone else having this problem.

EDIT: It's been fixed. The issue was my multiple monitors. One of them was a different resolution than the other two. After having removed that one from the setup(for some reason didn't think to actually test that since I was sure it couldn't be the problem) the problem has completely fixed itself. No more flashing, no more drivers or games crashing.
