Hey again!
I am building my rig and the main parts are intel core i5-4590 @3.3GHz and MSI Gtx 960 4G. I'll be getting 8GB(2X4GB) Ram too. So my question is how many fps would I be getting with the i5 and gtx960? The games i usually play are Minecraft and CS:GO and some other steam games.
Note: I am using an i3-3110M @2.40GHz and Geforce GT 620 and I can run minecraft (with low settings) on around 100-200fps and csgo (on low settings) around 20-40fps so I would want my rig to be way more than that.

Thanks for reading and have a good day! :)

There are 240 Hz screens already, but just thinking in their price makes my wallet shake in fear, anyway, a 4590 with a gtx 960 will run and record easily those games at 60 FPS.

Hmm I just need to get about 300fps on minecraft (on high settings) and about 100fps on CS:GO (On high settings) so will the i5 and gtx 960 do the job or i need to get a better cpu/gpu?

hah 300 fps on minecraft :pt1cable: whatever your reasoning i will never comprehend it. You do realise a 60hz monitor can not display any more than 60fps right? You will get 5 pieces of 5 frames displayed on the screen every cycle at 300fps/60hz, its called screen tearing when that happens. CS go i can kind of understand because its a fps where you want low input lag and all. Anywho, a 4590 and a gtx960 should be able to do the trick

Sorry I forgot to mention it, I needed 300fps because I record a lot and fps drop to 40-50 although it was around 120fps before I record so thats why I needed 300fps. Some of you may say i need about 200fps only but keep in mind not all servers have a good ram so they are a little bit laggy :p

Bump - Plus I would like to know the difference between i5-4690k and i7-4970k I've saw some reviews that say its just about 10fps difference so I would like someone to confirm if thats true or not.

No..... There are NO consumer grade 240hz monitors... 240hz monitors are used for surgical imaging
