Hello,

I am sorry if I am reapeating the same question again. I didnt found a relavent answer. I purchased a Desktop computer with 60 GB ssd + 1TB HDD. The ssd is from kingston which was fit to the mother board.

Now I purchased a Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB SSD and want to replace it with original. I cloned the old SSD to the new Samsung SSD. Now my question is:

1. How to make the booting from my current on-board SSD to this new samsung SSD
2. Can I use my use my old 60 GB SSD as an aditional memory in my system and how to remove the OS from my old drive
3. Normally OS will be in C drive if I want to have the same drive letter for new drive How to proceed.

If there is already infromation available kinldy give me the links for detailed information.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Chowdary

Solution
0. unplug your SSD
1. Enter BIOS and choose your new SSD as first HDD boot device
2. When everything works fine you can just format the SSD and use it as scratch drive, for Windows pagefile
3. The new drive will be C, the other drives sometimes get other label, which can be altered in Disk Management.
