My PSU has a few molex connectors (female) that branch out of it and I'm looking to get a molex to sata adapter for the NZXT HUE lighting kit but I'm not sure which one to get..

Does the NZXT HUE lighting kit require a sata male plug in or female plug in? Would this adapter work?

It would plug into my 4 pin connector no problem but I'm not sure if that's the right sata end..

here's a picture of the connectors on the NZXT HUE:

Thanks guys

SATA power connectors have a 3.3V line that the 4 pin molex lack. Whether or not it would work will depend on whether or not the drive you're plugging in needs that 3.3V line. Most drives don't need it, but you'd have to check yours to be sure.
