The item in not available to me - may not be available for public download. It doesn't matter though, as I would prefer you just past the results in the thread to save us some trouble :). Open the crash bump with software like BlueScreenView and copy the result. From there we can see if we can pinpoint the source.

What details do you actually want?

Here is a image of what I see on my screen <a href="http://imgur.com/eX4eGcb"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/eX4eGcb.png?1" title="source: imgur.com" /></a>

Just real quick, rich text editing in this forum follows BBCode markup, not HTML. As such, the syntax for inserting a link is:

{url="www.url.com"}LINK{/url}

where the {} (curly brackets) are use [] (square brackets). The end result to us viewers should look like:

LINK

Now, on to your little problem. BlueScreenView gave me less info than I had hoped for, unfortunately. If you could post the dump file somewhere else (like Google Drive), I may look at it myself. I do not know if I can get any more info than you have provided thusfar, though, because our culprit driver, according to the dump, is the kernel. The kernel isn't so much a driver, but more or less a collection of drivers that the OS interacts with. Because the dump does not specify a particular driver, then the source may not be something that you can just change or fix, which is a real pain. But we don't quite know for sure though, so let's try some stuff. First, are you using a laptop? I have seen this before when waking a laptop from sleep. Second, are you doing anything in particular when these crashes happen? Again, Windows' power management business is a popular cause of "power state failure"-type crashes. For now, I suggest opening a privileged command prompt and running:

sfc /scannow

to check for missing/corrupt system files. If it finds a problem, hopefully it will fix it. Next, follow this driver verification guide to search for possibly bad drivers. Next, if you have established an overclock on any of your hardware, please return to stock clock speeds for now. Next, use Windows' power management system from Control Panel to keep your system from either sleeping or hibernating. If you use third party software for power management - don't. I hope we can figure this out!

Alright so before I say anything, earlier today I downloaded something called "Hot Fix" from Microsoft's website. The link is here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2459268

After that I spent about 2-2.5 hours on my laptop and it ran without any issues. I don't know yet if that has fixed the problem or not but I'll be able to find out in upcoming days to come.

My laptop ran into this "BDOS" issue on random occasions - First when my laptop was on idle mode (Not sleep), second time it was during Idle mode as well and third time was this morning when I was browsing facebook/Youtube on google chrome and it froze and then immediately led to the Blue screen giving me the same error.

I don't know what's causing this problem yet but along with windows update I did update nvidia drivers as well. Moving on..

The file has now been uploaded on google drive - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5R2IaO4HS6vb0VPbWEzbmpoeDA/view?usp=sharing

I hope the above link I provided works fine as I tested and downloaded myself.

- My laptop basically never sleeps since I don't leave it on for Idle too long. I am usually back and forth. I will run the sfc /scannow tomorrow morning as soon as I get to work. (That's where I keep my laptop) However I will bring my laptop home in order to fix this issue if the problem keeps occurring.

- I don't have any overclock custom settings at all. On the Power management I don't have any third party software involved that can affect the system settings except the Default touchpad manager that came with the laptop. (It has keyboard LED color settings, power management, sleep, user account control, etc..)

Thanks for the reply. You have been really helpful!

Well, that's not a great sign if the system file checker could not fix the issue, but if you look at the cbs.log, you may be able to see what Windows could not fix. The log file is located in the directory that cmd describes. You can open it with a simple text editor, but you may have to copy the file to the desktop to open it. I would also run a malware scan and update your system drivers as well as you can. I do not know how active a torrenter that you are, but I discourage torrenting to everyone. Do what you want, of course, but torrents are a prime source of the latest malware that has yet to be officially flagged by antiviruses. I'm afraid that if we cannot tell what's wrong, your best option will likely be complete reinstall. I hope it doesn't come to that

Alright running a Norton full system scan now. Will let you know something. Any other software personally that you recommend to relocate malware that comes to a no cost? I am really thinking about cleaning up my system including (torrenting)

I opened up the file on desktop and I can't seem to find what exactly could be the issue. Can you take a look at it please? Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5R2IaO4HS6vYmdIQmlZTHlIaFk/view?usp=sharing

Also no freeze issue at all today. My laptop has been running for 2+ hours (Crossing my fingers) It hasn't BSOD yet after I installed the Hotfix file from microsoft yesterday.

I don't use Norton myself, but I doubt that there is anything wrong with it. There]http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2388652,00.asp"]There is a decent comparison of free antivirus softwares[/url] that you can consult if you are looking for something different. Just don't use more than one actively-running antivirus. I use the Malwarebytes malware scanner every once in a while because their malware database is updated almost daily. This is also not an antivirus, so it can be installed alongside an antivirus.
Looking at that log, it seems as if the system file checker uploaded some files for review to Microsoft, but didn't get a fix back. Also looking further on, there are a LOT of logs about Windows Update failing to open some package, but doesn't say what. I don't know if that is the source of the crashes, but may be worth fixing. Perhaps a Windows Update troubleshooter tool can do something for you. Worth a try. It seems you are having some luck so far, and I hope it keeps up
