is it alright to get the gtx 970?

Hello i have asked the community about the gtx 970 before and i want to ask should i get the gtx 970 with my fx 6300 (3.5ghz) i know bottleneck will occur but if i get a r9 280x it will be minimal than the gtx 970 also if i have to get a new cpu and mobo i have to start from the VERY begging of wiping my hdd moving parts ect. So i just want to know should i get a gpu that I KNOW will bottleneck my pc or just get the card that wont bottle neck?

The CPU might hold back the FPS from increasing with a graphics card upgrade, but you can still upgrade the graphics card and increase the settings like texture size and AA that aren't reliant on the CPU to get better picture quality.

If you don't mind overclocking, then you can reduce the CPU bottleneck.
