I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card. Currently an HD 6770. My mobo can do an fx 8 core (140 watt max) cpu (i have a ASRock 970 extreme3). I'm wondering if the new r9 380 will be bottlenecked by my phenom ii x4 980 BE not OC. I have an H60 liquid cooler on it. If you think it matters I currently have 16gb ddr3 1600 ram. Since I'm married, I need to approve all purchases through the boss, and she will only allow one purchase at a time. If you tech folks think I should upgrade cpu, that will be first since it's cheaper and the boss will permit the graphics purchase sooner since the cpu will be paid faster than the graphics. What's the verdict?
