I have a pc about 4 years old I built but leading up to recent days the pc has been shutting off as if it were overheating while watching videos online and doing small tasks..
Now it has reached the point that it turns on and shuts off after maybe 6-9 seconds... Before I reach the windows screen and even if I am holding at the bios screen.
Does anybody have any ideas on what i can do to start troubleshooting?
note# in the beginning i believed that it could be the PSU that was my issue because the fan on the psu doesn't spin for the few seconds that the pc is on. but after reading I thought maybe the fan will only spin if under stress.
