Hello, I have a Mid- 2009 13 inch macbook pro running on OSX Mavericks. When I push the power button, the screen stays black and there is a continuous beep sound about every five seconds until I turn off the power. I thought maybe the ram was bad so I bought new ram sticks and the problem persists. This problem began couple of days ago and the laptop was running fine before then. Does anyone know how this can be fixed?
