this is my exact graphics card : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125787

I read all over forums about people outdoing me, but can I go higher? should I go higher? if so, how should I proceed with going higher ?

Overclock is all about temperature and stability. If the card runs stable in benchmarking and doesn't overheat, or run just about at the edge, then you are fine. So continue to push the voltage and mhz up. If voltage is locked you may be at the limit of what it allows you to handle.

One thing to keep in mind is every chip is a tiny bit different, so for example if one guys gets 1000 mhz out of his board you may only be able to get 990 from yours Thats why pushing it and testing is so important.

I actually went ahead and moved some of the scales:

core voltage: didn't move it
power limit 100
temp limit 83
core clock +500
mem clock : +600
fan speed : 70

I did the heaven benchmark ;

graphics:2044 mhz
memory:3304 mhz
temp: stay around 45, never went higher than 46
