Is there a less distracting way to monitor GPU temp and frame rate?

Good evening, I like to monitor my GPU temps and frame rates while playing games. However, having bright green numbers on the corner of my screen can be a little immersion breaking at times.
Is there a less distracting way to monitor this data? Possibly an app, or even a way to set them to display only when reaching a certain temperature setting?
Currently I use MSI Afterburner, but I'm open to other suggestions as well.

Yeah I tried that but its pretty much the same as what I have now.
Have you heard of a program called Real Temp? Apparently it has a temp warning feature but I have never used it before and am wondering if it would work in combination with MSI afterburner. I use afterburner to control a custom fan profile (this is for a small form factor PC).
