Hello everyone!

I just got my GTX 970 today! But when I hooked up the VGA cables, they seem a bit loose at the connector on the video card. Is this usual? Is this something I should worry about? I dont want to spend $450 on a card to have it die/break soon.

Thanks!

As long as you have the clips on the underside of the 12v Pci-e power connectors from your Psu you should be ok.
They are there for that exact reason to make sure they lock into the connector blocks on the card it`s self.
If the mating of the two blocks are a loose fit. They should lock when pushed into the power blocks that except the 12v Pci-e connectors on the underside of the blocks of the card blocks/ connectors.

Just screw the the Video cable in via the two screw pins to tighten up the cable video port connected to the video out put port of the graphics card.
That will secure it tight.

Thanks for the reply! They are clipped in but the VGA cables still wiggle around on the vid card, is that normal? They don't wiggle a lot but they can wiggle left and right about 1 or 2 cm
