lo and behold, his all mighty raised his hand and casted down some one who knew how to pick decent power supplies.
+1

Oh and its a very balanced build as well, only thing I would recommend is either a larger kit of ram 2x8gb or a better SSD

oh boy, believe me. I LOVE seasonic PSUs. I run one in my system, and its silent, performs great, and will (probably) last me a long time (unlike some other unit... COUGH COUGH cx....)

the SSD was chosen because its a good budget performer, and he can spend the extra 20-30 dollars for a 850 evo if he wants.
again, 16GB is also an option, but he should get it only if he branches out of gaming a little bit...

only reason I recommend a 16gb kit was because for 1700AUD he could of fit it in, and for the ssd I either intend to upgrade later on and never do when I use a lesser SSD so that why I normally recommend a better ssd at time of purchase.

I was fully intending on upgrading my cheap little boot drive in my main rig... been almost 2 years and still not bothered enough to upgrade it... saying that I do avg 290Mbyte write speeds, and 300Mbyte reads.
also yes I wish I was able to get a seasonic unit at the time I was building mine. ended by with a Ax860 (still Seasonic) but it was either wait 3 weeks for a seasonic or build with the one I had.

the ax850 is still a good unit, and when I ment upgrading to the 850, is replacing the BX100 to it right now, as its only 30 bucks more.
if he can afford 16GB, then he should do it. it doesnt benefit games at all, but in video editing and browsers, its a gift from god.
