Hey guys i'm building a new system for my brother the main use for it will be extensive gaming and graphic design. the budget is already over 2 grand @ $2173 AUD

Questions are

Is it all compatible and is there any modifications i should make?

Is the psu sufficient?

CPU - i7-4790K

MOTHER BOARD - / Asus H97-PRO GAMER

GRAPHICS CARD - 8G R9-390XSapphire-TRI X OC

HDD - WD Blue 1TB

SSD - Kingston HyperX Fury 120G

CASE - Corsair Graphite 780T WHITE

POWER SUPPLY - Corsair 80+ Platinum HX750i

RAM - 16G Kit 2133 (8Gx2) Corsair Vengeance

Either you get a non-k version of the i7 or get a z97 motherboard. A platinum PSU is pointless. And if you're not planning on having multiple cards a good 550-650w psu will do just fine.

The parts themselves are compatible for the most part. It's just the minor things that are money killers right now.

Like what Calnin said, if your gonna be using a k chip than get a z motherboard not a h so you can actually use the CPU and its advantages at overclocking. As for the PSU, if you have the money than why not get it, your going to be running expensive components anyways and its good to not have to worry about the PSU and zero upgrade issues but that is up to you. Other than that the build looks great. The CPU is awesome i have one my self :)
