What are your software development credentials? Do you have any experience of managing a project of this size? Can you give us links to any projects you have managed/produced in the past?

I'm trying to determine whether this project is worth further consieration.

I have not managed THAT big Projects, but some smaller ones, all my software is/was Private, but with 14026 lines of code :)
No,i will not manage that,it belongs to everyone. There is no manager or owner. If you wanna help,It also belongs to you,so everybody who helps, manages it.

I'm afraid that sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. In essence you are saying that this very ambitious project will be unmanaged. You are looking at considerably more than 14026 lines of code unless you scale down your ambition somewhat.

I wish you the best of luck, but it's not something that I could donate my time to.

There are already FOSS applications that offer a subset of the functionality of some of the applications in this list. Some of these don't need FOSS equivalents either, since there are mature competing (though quite different) tools that are already FOSS. ColdFusion is a good example. You could just build your websites/web applications in something that is not ColdFusion.

You will need some degree of management of the projects. Otherwise you can't ensure only good code is contributed. You will also need an enormous team of experienced developers with fantastic communication skills working full time to pull off something like this within 10 years. Just look at GIMP. It has taken almost 20 years to get to the state that it is currently in, and it's not even close to Photoshop in most areas (though it does have some superior tools too). That's just one application.
